What is Co-Impact Sourcing?
Along with supplying the highest-quality essential oils, dōTERRA is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the farmers, harvesters, and distillers who contribute to our production. We source our essential oils from over 45 countries—more than half of which are considered lower-income countries. To empower small-scale farmers and harvesters in disadvantaged areas, dōTERRA created Cō-Impact Sourcing initiatives.
Cō-Impact Sourcing develops long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with producers and sustainable jobs with reliable income. doTERRA is committed to ethically collaborating with our sourcing network on developing and supporting supply chains that provide farmers with on-time payments at fair prices.
dōTERRA Healing Hands also funds and provides resources for social-impact projects to improve lives in the communities where essential oils are sourced.

Michelle Weaver re Kenya CIS Trip
"Together with other doTERRA leaders, we experienced sourcing firsthand. we learned from doTERRA's Sourcing Team, and the distillers, farmers, and harvesters with whom we work and give back to through doTERRA's Healing Hands Foundation and social impact projects."

Laurie Kimball re Kenya CIS Trip
"We had an amazing experience visiting two of our distilleries in Kenya with some truly beautiful people. We witnessed the process of extracting precious essential oils like tea tree, lemon eucalyptus, thyme, and geranium straight from the farmers' crops. It was a whole new level of appreciation for the power of nature and the value of its purity!"

Laurie Kimball re Kenya CIS Trip
"Seeing the farms, meeting the families and viewing their homes is life changing. It gives you the opportunity to help plant, cultivate, irrigate, and mulch the land where these crops are grown. "
