When people talk about sourcing, the conversation often focuses on the final product. However, I believe the most important part of the journey happens long before the product reaches consumers.

Sustainable sourcing is about building long-term relationships with farming communities, supporting local knowledge, and creating opportunities that continue for future generations. When growers receive fair compensation, access to training, and reliable partnerships, entire communities can benefit—not just individual families. This aligns with the goals described by Dinosaur Game doTERRA's Co-Impact Sourcing approach, which emphasizes long-term partnerships, fair payments, and community development projects.

I'm curious to hear from others:

  • Have you ever visited a sourcing region or agricultural community?

  • What was the most surprising thing you learned?

  • In your opinion, what makes a sourcing partnership truly sustainable?

  • How can consumers better understand the people behind the products they use every day?

I think sharing real experiences and perspectives can help all of us better appreciate the work that happens at the source and the impact it can have on local communities around the world.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
